initiating a disciplinary procedure against State Prosecutor Radovan Ortynski. This was one of the conclusions the government adopted at Thursday's session, regarding last week's request submitted by Supreme Court President Ivica Crnic who demanded the government to urgently assess whether disciplinary action should be launched against Ortynski for his statement on the corruption in Croatia's judiciary. The government assessed Ortynski's statement was an inappropriate way of communication among senior judicial officials. The government also believes Ortynski's apology was a moral act which could help overcome the negative effects on Croatia's judiciary. Prime Minister Ivica Racan stressed, however, should Ortynski repeat such behaviour, the government wou
