ZAGREB, June 26 (Hina) - Croatia Insurance could be privatised by the end of the year, while the privatisation of the Adriatic pipe line JANAF is not expected to be carried out within this period, the Economy Ministry reported. The
model of privatising JANAF and Croatia Insurance is expected to be drawn up by the end of October after advisors are appointed, after which the privatisation can start. "We do not expect JANAF to be privatised by the end of the year, but Croatia Insurance could be privatised until then," the ministry's statement issued in reply to an article in the media which said the government would leave the privatisation of the two companies, currently under the competence of the Economy Ministry, to the Croatian Privatisation Fund.(hina) lml sb
