ZAGREB, June 14 (Hina) - In the next several days the Croatian government will make a decision about revising the budget given that part of budgetary funds will be allocated to local administration units, Deputy Finance Minister Damir
Kustrak said on Thursday. Spending in Croatia will definitely have to be cut as the only way to balance the budget, Kustrak told reporters after a government session on small and medium businesses, held in Samobor, west of Zagreb today. The planned revenues from privatisation, worth 8.5 billion kuna, are not being realised and talks with Deutsche Telekom on the privatisation of Croatian Telekom have not been wrapped up yet, he said. This means that either one will have to propose the reduction of privatisation revenues or seek new loans for covering the deficit, he said.(hina) sb rml
