A rule-book dating from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the
20th century said any member of parliament who was to be absent from
sessions for three consecutive days had to request permission from
the parliament speaker. In case the MP wished to remain absent for a
longer period of time, he was to seek permission from the entire
parliament.
The publishers of Peric's works are the Croatian History Institute,
Croatian parliament and the "Dom i Svijet" publishing company.
