BELGRADE, June 11 (Hina) - A correspondent of the Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti from the southern Serbian town of Jagodina was murdered in front of his house early on Monday morning. Journalist Milan Pantic was bludgeoned to
death by still unidentified persons around 7.30 am. Pantic also worked for a local TV station and lately made features on illegal activities in Jagodina. Jagodina is the only Serbian town where local authority is held by the Party of Serb Unity (SSJ), whose founder and president was late Zeljko Raznatovic Arkan, whom the war crimes tribunal in The Hague indicted for war crimes in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo.(hina) rml
