ZAGREB, June 4 (Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Foreign Minister Vesna Cvjetkovic Kurelec on Monday took part in the working breakfast of foreign ministers of member-countries of the Organisation of American States (OAS). The event was held
within the OES General Assembly which is taking place in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, read a statement released by the Croatian foreign ministry. Croatia has been an observer to the OES since 1995. Addressing the participants in the assembly, Cvjetkovic Kurelec pointed out achievements Croatia had made promoting democracy and human rights. She stressed that although her country had been exposed to aggression and war destruction, it had succeeded in reaching high European standards in the protection of human rights and the rights of minorities. Cvjetkovic Kurelec on Monday took part in the working breakfast of
foreign ministers of member-countries of the Organisation of
American States (OAS).
The event was held within the OES General Assembly which is taking
place in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, read a statement
