ZAGREB, May 31 (Hina) - A citizen of Croatia, Momcilo Draca, 35, was apprehended in Hungary yesterday morning. He is suspected of having participated in war crimes against 43 Croat civilians in Skabrnja village on November 18, 1991,
Croatian Interior Affairs Ministry spokeswoman Zinka Bardic, told Hina today. Draca was born in Zadar. He was arrested on the Roeszke border crossing between Yugoslavia and Hungary pursuant to an international warrant for his arrest issued following an enquiry request. A Budapest court ordered temporary detention for Draca which may last no more than 40 days, in which time the Croatian Justice Ministry should send an extradition request to Hungary, Bardic said.
