ZAGREB, May 29 (Hina) - Ahead of tomorrow's Croatian Statehood Day, Prime Minister Ivica Racan, Chief Vice-Premier Goran Granic and Vice-Premier Zeljka Antunovic today received representatives of 17 associations of Homeland Defence
War veterans. The talks focused on the problems of veterans and war invalids, as well as amendments to the Law on the Rights of Homeland Defence War Veterans and their Families. A government statement said Racan stressed that seven percent of budgetary resources were being set aside for the needs of veteran invalids, as well as that other funds existed. The veterans' associations representatives voiced satisfaction with the government's will for dialogue.
