ZAGREB, May 25 (Hina) - Croatia's President Stjepan Mesic on Friday evening received Neda Ritz, the newly appointed Croatian ambassador to UNESCO, the President's Office stated. Neda Ritz is an eminent journalist and was the editor-in
chief of the Croatian Television in the last year. Ritz, who is the new Croatian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the UNESCO, will succeed Ambassador Vesna Jurkic-Girardi at this post in Paris. Ritz said her predecessor had made great job during her ambassadorial post when a few other Croatian monuments such as the cathedral in the coastal town of Sibenik were added to the list of the World Cultural Heritage.(hina) ms
