ZAGREB, May 23 (Hina) - Croatia and Greece signed an agreement on the strengthening of the two countries' economic relations in Zagreb on Thursday. The agreement was signed by Croatian Maritime and Communications Minister Alojz Tusek
and Greek deputy Foreign Minister Grigorios Niotis, member of a Greek delegation to Croatia, led by President Konstantinos Stefanopulos. The agreement is an additional encouragement for cooperation between the two countries, which is more than necessary considering that Croatia's trade with Greece represents only 0.43 percent of the country's total trade. Zagreb on Thursday.
The agreement was signed by Croatian Maritime and Communications
Minister Alojz Tusek and Greek deputy Foreign Minister Grigorios
Niotis, member of a Greek delegation to Croatia, led by President
Konstantinos Stefanopulos.
The agreement is an additional encouragement for cooperation
between the two countries, which is more than necessary considering
that Croatia's trade with Greece represents only 0.43 percent of
the country's total trade.
During the visit of Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan to Athens

Greek entrepreneurs are interested in investing in Croatia's
banking sector, food processing industry and insurance. Also
announced were joint projects in tourism.
A Greek-Croatian economic forum will take place in the Croatian
Chamber of Commerce on Thursday. The forum will be opened by
President Stefanopulos.
