BELGRADE, May 10 (Hina) - Both chambers of the Yugoslav parliament on Thursday adopted an agreement on special, paralel ties between Yugoslavia and the Bosnian Serb entity of Republika Srpska. Republika Srpska President Mirko Sarovic
and Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica signed an agreement on the establishment of special relations in Banja Luka on March 5 this year. A bill on the ratification of the agreement states that the agreement confirms "the principal goal to preserve the state and national identity and stabilise and establish balance in relations in the region." The two sides, the document reads, are confident that the agreement "respects the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina."(hina) sb rml
