LJUBLJANA, May 22 (Hina) - An agreement on cross-border traffic and cooperation which Slovenia concluded with Croatia is not contrary to provisions of the Slovene Constitution, Slovenia's Constitutional Court stated on Tuesday. At the
request which the liberal and popular parties' coalition of Premier Janez Drnovsek filed with it a year and half ago, the Court considered the text of the agreement which was signed four years ago by the then Slovene and Croatian foreign ministers, Zoran Thaler and Mate Granic respectively. The Court removed suspicion that the ratification of the deal in the Slovene parliament might be disputable in relation to the Constitution and that the implementation of the agreement might prejudge an agreement on the state border between these two neighbours.(hina) ms
