ZAGREB, May 10 (Hina) - Within 30 days at the latest Yugoslavia will give Croatia documents on at least 55 unidentified persons who were buried in the area of Novi Sad, after which the remains of the missing Croatian citizens will be
unconditionally handed over to Croatia, Croatian and Yugoslav representatives agreed at talks on missing and detained persons in Zagreb on Thursday. Major progress has been achieved at the two-day talks between the working groups of the Croatian Government Office for Missing and Detained Persons and the Yugoslav Federal Commission for Humanitarian Affairs and Missing Persons, which were headed by Ivan Grujic and Maksim Korac respectively, the Croatian government said in a statement today. The two sides also agreed that expert observers should be allowed to attend exhumations in all cases when there is reason to believe that the buried are missing persons.

A faster search for missing persons will start this month with the
take-over of the remains of six persons buried in Yugoslavia and the
exhumation of remains in a border area between Croatia and
Yugoslavia, the statement said.
Croatia's representatives at the meeting insisted on more data on
the fate of missing persons from its Danube River, Banovina and
western Slavonija regions.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the
International Committee of the Red Cross and the International
Commission for Missing Persons.
