VUKOVAR VUKOVAR, April 26 (Hina) - Experts of the government's Commission for Missing and Imprisoned Persons Thursday began exhuming a corporate well adjacent to a Hunters' Cabin near the eastern town of Vukovar. The location was
visited by the Commission's president Ivan Grujic and several persons described by Grujic as "senior US officials", refusing to specify the reasons for their presence. The well is approximately 20 metres deep and has been covered to the brim. Grujic said some ten days will be necessary to reach its bottom. The well is about 150 metres from another well where a large amount of weapons and ammunition were found by Commission experts last year. Probing exhumations will be continued at about 14 other locations in Vukovar-Srijem County. So far 1,865 remains were exhumed in the county, 1,469 of which have been identified, while 719 people are still sought.(hina) lml sb
