ZAGREB/MUMBAI, May 5 (Hina) - At the end of his visit to India, Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula visited the Indian Federal Republic of Maharashtra on Saturday. Picula is the head of a Croatian delegation which also includes
representatives of the Economy Ministry and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. Maharashtra is the second largest state in India with the population of 90 million. Maharashtra is, however, the strongest economic state in India. Picula held talks with Maharashtra governor P.C. Alexander in Mumbai (former Bombay). The governor stressed Indian economists were interested in cooperation with Croatia, read a statement issued by the Croatian Foreign Ministry.
