ZAGREB, May 4 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament on Friday morning wrapped up a debate on the Statute of the Agency for the Supervision of Pension Funds and Pension Insurance, one of the key institutions in the pension reform, which is
to start at the beginning of next year. The parliament did not vote on the statute due to lack of quorum and resumed the session with a debate on a draft decision on the adoption of a physical plan for the national park Brijuni. The parliament should also discuss draft changes to the Law on Sports, which envisage direct financing of disabled people's sports associations and changes to the Penal Code envisaging harsher sentences for illegal border crossings.(hina) rml
