ZAGREB, April 27 (Hina) - Croatia on Friday initialled free trade agreements with the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Croatian Assistant Economy Minister Olgica Spevec told reporters. The agreements are expected to be signed this autumn
and the agreements would temporarily come into force on January 1, 2002. In line with the agreement, the liberalisation of industrial products trade would take place next year. With today's agreements, Croatia has free trade agreement with five CEFTA member-countries (Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia) and is expected to end negotiations with the remaining two CEFTA member-countries -- Bulgaria and Romania.(hina) it
