ZAGREB, April 18 (Hina) - The Association of Workers' Trade Unions of Croatia (URSH) voiced "embitterment" with a drastic increase in the price of oil products. The union believes the increase will trigger off a chain reaction and
cause other prices to rise, and describes it as another blow to the living standards of the most destitute social categories. Increasing the price of petrol by almost 100 percent over the past year, Croatia has become one of the countries with the most expensive basic energy products while at the same time no other general economic indicator can measure up to successful countries in transition, let alone developed European countries, the URSH said in a statement.
