BELGRADE, April 13 (Hina) - The head of the Yugoslav Commission for Crisis Area in southern Serbia, Nebojsa Covic, on Friday met about 50 Albanians from Medvedje to discuss a possibility of coexistence of Serbs and Albanians. Albanian
representatives reminded Covic that Albanians in the region had to flee their homes due to the presence of Serb security forces before, during and after NATO strikes on the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Also present at the meeting were representatives of the United States Embassy's provisional office in Vranje. They said the United States would assist the region's economic development.
