MOSTAR, April 9 (Hina) - The Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BiH) on Monday strongly condemned statements of U.S. ambassador to Bosnia, Thomas Miller, who labelled the party's members and Croat protesters as
criminals, gangsters and thieves. He branded them with such names after they took part in rallies during last Friday's SFOR operation against Hercegovacka Bank. Miller's statements were published on the front pages of Bosnian dailies with the largest circulation - "Dnevni Avaz" and Oslobodjenje" - over the weekend. The HDZ BiH asserted that the American ambassador thus violated diplomatic norms and inflicted "permanent and incalculable damage to tolerance and coexistence of peoples in Bosnia and well as to the survival of the country."(hina) sb ms
