MOSTAR, April 4 (Hina) - Croatian policemen who do not recognise the interior ministry of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, could lose their jobs, the spokesman of the United Nations Office in the southern Bosnia-Herzegovina's
town of Mostar, Stefo Lahmann said on Wednesday. Lehman condemned a statement of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Interior Minister Dragan Mandic and another nine officials of the ministry, under which they expressed disobedience to authorised state bodies. Lehman believes that the majority of the persons who signed the document were pressured by the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), because the party controls payrolls of all public employees. This is a proof that the HDZ continues to influence decisions of the police.(hina) it sb
