ZAGREB, March 28 (Hina) - The Canadian Embassy in Croatia said in a statement Wednesday it had donated CAN$92,245 for projects in Croatia. The projects are being implemented via the United States Agency for International Development
(USAID), the Croatian Power Industry (HEP), and the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA). The Canadian Ambassador Dennis A. Snider said the funds were raised via the Establishment of Peace Programme and the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives. They are trying to help ethnic reconciliation, democratic development, the return of human rights to refugees and sex equality.
