ZAGREB, March 21 (Hina) - The Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) is to start approving loans to first-time entrepreneurs and returnees from Germany directly, simultaneously applying lower interest rates for
several programmes, particularly export-oriented ones, the HBOR Supervisory Board decided on Wednesday. Loans for returnees will be approved at a seven percent annual interest rate, a grace period of 2-3 years, and payment within 8-15 years. The Supervisory Board decided to use 157.7 million kuna earmarked in the budget to incite export to subsidise interest rates according to loan programmes.
