ZAGREB PROJECTS ZAGREB, March 19 (Hina) - Croatia has finally been accepted into the TEMPUS programme and three projects of the University of Zagreb have been okayed as part of 2001's competition, Branko Jeren, the head of the
University of Zagreb, said on Monday. The three projects include communication competence in a multilingual environment, the development of an office for international university cooperation, and a Dubrovnik diplomatic summer school. More than EUR800,000 have been granted for the three projects out of a total 1.4 million TEMPUS allocated for Croatia for 2001. TEMPUS was established at the European community's Council of Ministers in 1990 as part of a financial assistance programme for economic restructuring in countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
