ZAGREB, March 2 (Hina) - The third round table conference of the Adriatic-Ionic Initiative took place in Zagreb Friday, with the participation of representatives of Croatia, Greece, Italy, Yugoslavia, Slovenia and the European
Commission. The participants of the conference presented numerous suggestions of cooperation. The Foreign Ministry reported the accentuated priority projects were the adoption of a joint subregional plan regarding sea incidents, a programme of monitoring and researching the Adriatic, and planning the management of the coastal area. Suggested was the founding of a task force which would draft concrete projects in line with EU criteria. Participants also agreed on starting points for the upcoming meeting of environment protection ministers of AII member countries to take place in Ancona on March 16. (hina) lml
