ZAGREB, Feb 28 (Hina) - Croatia's Minister of Environmental Protection and Zoning, Bozo Kovacevic, on Wednesday signed a cooperation agreement with an agency of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (GTZ),
granting Croatia DM 600,000 for the establishment of an environmental protection fund within the Stability Pact's REReP programme. The German ministry announced that it would financially support Croatia in projects regarding the adjustment of its laws on environmental protection to the EU legislation; the establishment of a network of financial experts on environmental protection in Central and East-European countries and the development and strengthening of non-governmental organisations, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Zoning said in a statement today.(hina) rml
