ZAGREB, March 14 (Hina) - Croatian Parliament Speaker Zlatko Tomcic
and the Chairman of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina
Parliament's House of Peoples, Ivo Komsic, discussed current
developments in Bosnia-Herzegovina and possible problems in the
functioning of the Federation in the light of recent decisions in
Mostar at a working meeting in Zagreb on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by the Sabor's Public Relations
Service, the two sides agreed that it was necessary to respect and
consistently implement the Dayton agreement, especially the
principle of all three peoples being constituent throughout
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Tomcic stressed the Croatian government's commitment to strictly
abide by the principle of non-interference with Bosnia's internal
relations and by the framework of Croatia's active involvement as
envisaged by the Dayton agreement and the Croatian Constitution.
Both sides hoped the international community would, in line with
its powers, actively promote those political solutions which would
secure the functioning of the entire state system in Bosnia-
Herzegovina, and assessed that securing the return of refugees to
all BH areas was of great importance.
