SARAJEVO, March 13 (Hina) - The Office of the international
community's High Representative to Bosnia-Herzegovina (OHR) and
the OSCE mission in that country on Tuesday welcomed the
constitution of the new government of the Bosnian Federation (the
Croat-Moslem entity), and called on the new authorities to
immediately launch economic reforms in order to stir up the
settlement of grave economic and social problems.
An OHR spokesman told reporters in Sarajevo that the new
authorities were expected to fulfil promises they had given prior
to the elections such as the creation of more jobs and making it
possible for all refugees and displaced persons to return to their
pre-war homes.
Spokesman Oleg Milisic called on "moderate politicians" in the
Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) to take part in reform
processes and primarily discontinue the boycott of the work of
legal bodies of authority.
"Bodies of authority in the Federation must function as Bosnia is in
an economic crisis," he said describing HDZ politicians' decision
not to participate in the election of the new government as
shameful.
