ZAGREB, Feb 12 (Hina) - Croatian Armed Forces' Chief-of-Staff, General Petar Stipetic, has not suspended any Armed Forces officer who attended the Split protest rally wearing the uniform worn by members of the 'Alka' chivalrous
tournament in Sinj, Defence Ministry spokesman Dusan Viro said on Monday. Information published by some media saying that General Stipetic suspended officers wearing Alka uniforms is false, Viro said. Alka contestants are not members of the Croatian army but there are active army members among them. Alka contestants are members of the Alka Knights' Society and in the formal and legal sense have no connection with the Croatian army, he said.(hina) rml
