Expert Hrvoje Gomercic was quoted by the Croatian television as
saying on Saturday evening that this kind of dolphin usually lives
in the waters of northern Atlantic.
Such kind of dolphin was last time spotted in the Adriatic in 1939.
It was in the cove of Tiha near Cavtat, south of Dubrovnik.
Gomercic added that this baby dolphin was in good condition and that
there was no reason for concern about its adjustment to the
conditions typical in the Adriatic.
The baby dolphin hops from under surface of the sea every twenty
minutes to the joy of many observers, particularly children.
