VILNIUS, Feb 27 (Hina) - A Croatian parliamentary delegation headed by speaker Zlatko Tomcic on Tuesday ended a visit to Lithuania and departed for a visit to Latvia. On the second day of their stay in Lithuania, Tomcic and the
Croatian delegation visited the Lithuanian Industrialists Association. Afterwards, Tomcic made an address in Seimas, Lithuania's parliament, reminding of the similarities Lithuania and Croatia shared in their past. Tomcic said the most important thing was the two countries' striving to integrate into Euro-Atlantic structures. He pointed to the need for Croatia and Lithuania to pursue with parliamentary cooperation, and the need of exchanging experience in negotiations with the European Union and NATO.(hina) ha
