11TH SESSION OF LOWER HOUSE TO START ON MARCH 7

ZAGREB, Feb 27 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament presidency confirmed on Tuesday that the 11th session of the House of Representatives would start on Wednesday, March 7, and that the agenda could include a proposal that changes be made to the Constitution with the aim of dissolving the House of Counties. When this item could enter parliamentary procedure is not known - it is only certain that one fifth of deputies will support it with their signatures, after the leaders of the ruling coalition reached agreement on the dissolution of the upper house last week. The lower house is also expected to discuss a law regulating the election of bodies of local authority and a proposal on the appointment of three Constitutional Court judges.
