BRUSSELS, Feb 26 (Hina) - Croatia and the European Union began the second round of negotiations on the Agreement on Stabilisation and Association in Brussels Monday. The talks are expected to continue until Tuesday afternoon. "We have
agreed on three out of ten chapters so far -- the chapter on institutional mechanisms on implementing the agreement, a chapter on justice and internal affairs, and on financial cooperation," Croatia's chief negotiator Neven Mimica told reporters. He added the continued negotiations would mostly focus on the trade regime for EU products on the Croatian market and gaining ownership rights of real-estate in Croatia. Mimica assessed the rhythm of the talks agreed with Croatia's wishes and they could end according to plan, before the end of Sweden's chairmanship over the EU.(hina) lml sb
