ZAGREB, Feb 2 (Hina) - Between Feb. 5-7, a Croatian delegation will take part in multilateral World Trade Organisation negotiations on agriculture in Geneva, for the first time as a full-right WTO member, the Croatian Agriculture
Ministry said on Friday. Heading the delegation will be Assistant Agriculture Minister Miroslav Bozic. The Geneva negotiations are expected to focus on further liberalisation in agricultural trade and farm price support, particularly the issue of the most contentious export subsidies. The most important thing for Croatia, and several others transition countries who recently joined the WTO, will be to make sure that it does not start implementing new obligations before completing with the implementation of those already assumed, in early 2005.(hina) ha
