CROATIA ATTENDS SEECP SUMMIT IN SKOPJE AS OBSERVER

ZAGREB, Feb 23 (Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Foreign Minister, Vesna Cvjetkovic Kurelec, said in the Macedonian capital that the participation of her country, as an observer, in the Skopje summit of heads of state or government of South Eastern European Cooperation Process (SEECP), showed Zagreb's interest in "strengthening the overall cooperation between countries in the south-east of Europe." According to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry in Zagreb, Croatia's delegation at the Skopje meeting is led by First Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic. Present at the summit are delegations of Greece, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania and Macedonia. Their heads of state or government on Friday discussed models for the promotion of good neighbourly relations, stability, security and democracy in this part of Europe.
