ZAGREB, Jan 18 (Hina) - The section of the Zagreb-Split railway running along the Una River valley in Bosnia-Herzegovina will be reopened for traffic on January 26 with a promotional drive, organised by the Croatian and
Bosnia-Herzegovina railways, the Croatian Railways (HZ) reported on Thursday. On board the first promotional drive will be Croatian and Bosnian state officials, after which cargo transport will be re-established. Passenger traffic on the Una River valley railway will begin in June. The two railways expressed readiness to re-establish cargo and passenger traffic on the Una River valley railway in November last year. Railway traffic on the Bosnian side is already functioning whereas reconstruction works on the Croatian side, on the Knin-Martin Brod section, have been completed, making the railway ready for opening.(hina) rml
