LJUBLJANA, Jan 17 (Hina) - Croatia and Slovenia seem not to be able to reach agreement on a manner for the resolution of contentious issues. Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel on Tuesday said Ljubljana had already proposed to
Zagreb that open issues in their bilateral relations should be settled "in a package." His Croatian counterpart, Tonino Picula, however, said last week that such a method in the past years proved not to be fruitful and in the Croatian foreign minister's opinion, open issues should be considered one by one, first at the level of experts who could begin tackling easier problems at the start.(hina) sb ms
