of Vojvodina's Bac municipality, headed by municipality head Tomislav Bogunovic. The two parties expressed readiness to revive good-neighbourly cooperation, the Vukovar mayor's office said in a statement. The two parties decided that easier and faster traffic at the Vukovar-Vajska border crossing needed to be established. Bogunovic said that the new authorities of the Bac municipality expressed regret about the suffering of Vukovar citizens and the town in 1991.
