ZAGREB, Jan 5 (Hina) - Sweden will cancel visas for Croatian citizens starting February 1, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said on Friday. According to an official note from the Swedish Foreign Ministry's administration for migrations
and asylum issues, a decision to that effect was made last Dec. 22. The Foreign Ministry also said that Sweden, which this year assumes presidency over the European Union, was completing preparations for signing a readmission agreement with Croatia. Welcoming the visa cancellation decision, the Foreign Ministry said it was yet another step forward in Croatia's rapprochement with the European Union and a clear sign of Stockholm's support.(hina) ha
