Bosnia may count on very favourable, interest-free loans which
would be repaid over a 35-year period, with a ten-year grace, and a
minimal servicing commission of 0.75 percent, the World Bank's
office for Bosnia in Sarajevo said in a statement on Thursday.
Since 1996 the World Bank has approved US$970 million worth of loans
for Bosnia under the same conditions. The funds have been invested
in 44 projects.
The new loan will be granted for investments as well as to support
the two entities' and the state budgets.
