ZAGREB/AMAN, Dec 18 (Hina) - Jordan and Croatia are about to start intensifying their political and economic relations, Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula said on Wednesday, at the end of an official visit to Jordan, where he
held talks with King Abdullah II and other Jordanian officials. During the visit, the countries' officials signed agreements on cooperation. Picula conveyed President Stjepan Mesic's invitation for King Abdullah II to visit Croatia.

The Croatian delegation, which included representatives from the
ministries of foreign affairs and economy and the Croatian Chamber
of Commerce, visited Jordan within a Middle East tour, which also
included Lebanon and Egypt, and will end in Libya.
