KARLOVAC, Dec 17 (Hina) - "With us Croatians nothing goes that easy and fast, we need to show some patience, because there is nothing left for me to do but be patient and hope that the consensus would be reached on a draft resolution
and inter-partry agreement regarding the programme of Croatia's joining the European Union," Prime Minister Ivica Racan said Tuesday.

left for me to do but be patient and hope that the consensus would be
reached on a draft resolution and inter-partry agreement regarding
the programme of Croatia's joining the European Union," Prime

Racan told reporters in Karlovac that patience was necessary and
added that he was confident an agreement would be reached.
"This is for Croatia's well-being and the well-being of its people
(joining the EU) and a large number of Croatian citizens support
this. I hope that political parties will be smart enough to act in
line with the people's wish. I am still an optimist," Racan said.
