ZAGREB, Dec 13 (Hina) - Regional initiatives can only help

Radmila Sekerinska said in Zagreb on Friday. #L#
Sekerinska, who is charge of Macedonia's European integration, is
on a Croatian visit at Mimica's invitation since Thursday.
Macedonian political representatives responsible for European
integration have been in Croatia since Thursday at the invitation
of Minister Mimica.
Mimica and Sekerinska agreed that it was Croatia's and Macedonia's
common aim to attract the European Union's attention to the need to
advance the SAP by earmarking greater funding for the five
countries involved in the process to enable their speedier progress
towards the EU.
Sekerinska was received on Friday by Croatian Premier Ivica Racan
and Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic. At that meeting it was
concluded that cooperation between the two countries in lobbying
the EU was not a barrier to individual approaches for potential
candidates to the EU.
At the end of the meeting, Premier Racan announced that he would
soon visit Macedonia.
