OSCE Mission to Croatia spokesman Alessandro Fracasetti told Hina
the Organisation welcomed the Croatian parliament's decision, but
would have to examine the act in detail to make a final assessment.
The next step is to work towards making the law's provisions reflect
on the electoral law as well so that minorities would be ensured
proper parliamentary representation, said Fracasetti.
Of particular importance to the OSCE is how the constitutional law
regulates the participation of minorities in public activities,
especially in judicial and administrative bodies, he said.
