ZAGREB, Dec 12 (Hina) - At the closed-door part of Thursday's
session the Croatian government decided to extend until January 17
the deadline for the submission of binding offers for the purchase
of 25 percent plus one share of the oil company INA. #L#
The deadline was extended after INA's management failed to draw up a
business plan for 2003 and a five-year development plan for the
company, two documents on which the binding offers should be
based.
There are three strategic partners, Austria's OMV, Hungary's MOL,
and Russia's ROSNEFT. They should submit the offers by 17 January
2003.
