KOSOVO GOVERNMENT REJECTS CONSTITUTIONAL CHARTER

PRISTINA, Dec 11 (Hina) - The Kosovo government on Wednesday adopted a declaration in which it rejects the constitutional charter proposed for the community of Serbia and Montenegro where the preamble notes Kosovo as a constitutive part of Serbia. #L# Serb Minister Goran Bogdanovic was the only one to vote against the declaration. The Kosovo government assessed the decision by Serbia and Montenegro as a provocation to peace and democratic processes in Kosovo, the region and the world. The Kosovo government rejects any attempt to return Kosovo within Serbia or any other state community with Serbia or Montenegro, a press release written by the Kosovo government said. The press release also called on the international community not to accept the preamble of the constitutional charter which mentions Kosovo. The Kosovo government gave its support to the opinion expressed by the Kosovo parliament where the charter had already been rejected previously. (hina) sp it
