ZAGREB, Dec 5 (Hina) - The chairman of the Croatian government's
council for cooperation with the ICTY, Goran Granic, on Thursday
declined to comment on Belgrade's request that the International
Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia take over the Lora
case. #L#
"It is pointless to comment on media articles in Yugoslavia, a
country which has not yet launched any war crimes process," Granic
said.
The government's public relations office stated that the
government would not respond to moves by the administration of some
other country.
The Yugoslav national council for cooperation with the Hague-based
UN tribunal asked the tribunal to take over the "Lora case", the
Belgrade daily "Glas javnosti" reported.
