The donation continues the years-long fruitful cooperation between
the customs services of the two countries.
Since 1996 professional instructors of the British Customs Service
have prepared and held five seminars for Croatian customs employees
with funding from the British government.
Cooperation with Great Britain's Customs Service, which has
included the aforementioned seminars as well as exchange of
operational information, has yielded concrete results in the
struggle against organised crime, particularly drug trafficking
and customs fraud.
The Croatian Customs Administration gave Ambassador Jarrold a
thank-you note for today's donation and past help.
