to the effect that an ongoing workers' protest was orchestrated by a third party which wanted the transport company to go bankrupt. About 40 of the company's 390 workers on November 5 blockaded Croatia Bus, demanding the replacement of the current and appointment of a new board which would manage the company until court proceedings against former director Leon Sulic on charges of embezzlement are over. Speaking to reporters today, New Trade Union president Mario Ivekovic refuted yesterday's claim by Trpimir Sulic that the company was losing between 80,000 and 90,000 kuna daily because of the protest as entirely untrue.
