Croatian Foreign Ministry on Saturday dismissed as incorrect claims made by the International Club of Croatian Emigrants, Returnees and Investors in today's issue of "Jutarnji list" daily to the effect that Foreign Minister Tonino Picula was refusing to cooperate with the diaspora. The claims the Porec-based Club made in the daily represent a crude and ill-intentioned falsification of the truth, the Ministry said in a statement today. The Club first contacted the Ministry officially in February 2001, and Minister Picula responded to the Club in writing on several occasions, supporting its initiatives, the Ministry said.
